Responsibilities:
- Evaluating patients' medical histories, symptoms, and conducting thorough medical examinations
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood work, cultures, and imaging studies
- Diagnosing and treating various infectious diseases, such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and respiratory infections
- Developing personalized treatment plans for each patient, including medication management and infection control measures
- Providing ongoing infectious disease care, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated patient care
- Staying updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of infectious diseases through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
Requirements:
- Medical degree and valid license to practice as an Infectious Diseases Specialist/Consultant
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various infectious diseases
- Strong knowledge of infectious diseases principles, practices, and treatment options
- Expertise in interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address complex infectious diseases
