Manager of Internal Auditing Office - Dubai Sports Council

• Oversight and direction to organize plan implement and evaluate the Councils work and services in the field of internal audit and work to ensure the application of the rules regulations and policies regulating the Councils work.
• Ensure the processes of preparing developing and applying regulations legislation policies controls work mechanisms and procedures regulating the Councils operations and activities in accordance with performance indicators and the best standards of quality and excellence measures.
• Ensuring the achievement of selfmonitoring by implementing the Dubai Sports Councils budget with a financial and legal perspective and ensuring the commitment of all organizational units in the Council to implement the laws regulations policies decisions instructions and strategic and operational plans in accordance with the specified standards controls and strategic directions.
• Supervising the management and implementation of all auditing and reviewing operations for financial transactions before and after disbursement with regard to expenses and revenues of organizational units in accordance with auditing programs and methods recognized locally and internationally.
• Coordination with the Financial Audit Department to answer inquiries related to the financial audit and follow up on the directives issued by that department in accordance with financial laws and regulations.
• Verifying the accuracy and objectivity of the data reports and financial statements related to the Councils operations and reviewing the final account data prepared by those concerned with financial affairs at the end of the fiscal year and their conformity with the entries in the financial records and documents.
• Supervising the investigation processes into discovered financial violations and abuses and referring the results of the investigation to the relevant authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
• Certified Internal Auditor
• Certified in Risk Management
• Professional Accountant or Finance
• Worked or with UAE tax and regulation background
• Having at least 15 years experience in auditing.
• Aware of Internal audit systems and procedures
