HUB Project Execution Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

The Energy Industries global division (GD) drives growth for customers across the energy industry, supporting safe, efficient, and profitable operations with strong global execution capacity, an extensive service footprint and capabilities, and innovative digital leadership. The GD focuses on providing various integrated electrification, automation, instrumentation & telecommunication & digital solutions to the changing customer demands, raising up to their expectations and satisfaction. The India, Middle East & Africa region (IMEA) HUB has been always the focus for the global division of PAEN in terms of establishing footprints in new territories and has been part of various strategic initiatives of ABB Group. You will be working as HUB Project Execution Manager and will be a part of the Process Industries Business for Energy industries (PAEN) division. In this role, you will be specifically responsible at HUB (region) level for the following activities: 1. Training, coaching, development of Project Managers and Site Managers including certifications (FCA - Functional competency assessment) as per the global process, to meet current and future demands. 2. Make sure ABB PM process implementation and compliance is adhered to by the local divisions. Best practice sharing amongst the HUB PM community and implementing lessons-learnt from audits, loss projects and reviews. 3. Roll out of global division initiatives related to the Project Management function, including tracking the required outcomes. Make sure data reported from the HUB are accurate in the platforms and tools available. Above activities shall be aligned to overseeing delivery of projects to customers that meet defined specifications, schedule, and budget covering all countries (Local divisions & cluster countries) covered under IMEA HUB. You will also be responsible for implementation of Integrated and harmonized management system covering PM process, tools, standards and templates (IMS). You will be responsible for leading the implementation of continuous improvements (agile) for project execution tools and strategy across the entire HUB, including project execution at local division levels. You will oversee and guide the project execution teams both across the HUB and locally, ensuring consistent adherence to ABB policies. You will develop, customize, and improve standard processes and work instructions by adopting ABB and external best practices. You will supervise project execution and performance management through project reviews with management and Project Managers, ensuring contract fulfillment. You will actively resolve escalated issues, particularly those raised by customers. You will ensure that the portfolio of projects adheres to execution practices in line with Global division and HUB governance, guidelines, and instructions, and that projects are closed according to contractual obligations and budgeted parameters. You will ensure that projects consistently apply contract and claims management in accordance with ABB policies, guidelines, and instructions to secure ABB's rights. You will minimize contractual risks and maximize the conversion of opportunities through effective contract and claims management and best practices. You will build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You will oversee competency assessments and ensure that project staff are appropriately licensed and certified. You will lead and coach the project execution teams to achieve business objectives, driving efficiency and effectiveness, and improving cash flow, revenue, and profitability. You will define the organization of the project in coordination with the Project Manager. Qualifications For The Role

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on electrical, electronics, and instrumentation and control. You have a demonstrated track record in project execution activities, with a minimum of 15 years of experience, and have established skills in project management in the Systems business for at least 10 years. You are ABB Certified SPM, PM, or PMP certified.
• You are highly skilled in communication and presentation, and you enjoy working with relevant tools and methodologies in the Systems business market. You are at ease communicating in English and possess an enhanced knowledge of industry-specific platforms.
