الوصف الوظيفي
- Lead and manage instrumentation engineering activities for offshore upstream oil and gas projects.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, and budgets for instrumentation scope.
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and review instrumentation design documents, including P&IDs, instrument datasheets, loop diagrams, and control philosophies.
- Specify and select instrumentation equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform instrument sizing and calculations for control valves, flow meters, pressure, and temperature instruments.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the instrumentation engineering team.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (process, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure design integrity and compliance with industry
- Prepare technical specifications and evaluate bids for instrumentation equipment and services.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of equipment and services.
- Oversee factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and installation inspections.
- Ensure all instrumentation designs comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses related to instrumentation systems.
- Implement safety instrumented systems (SIS) and ensure compliance with IEC 61511 standards.
- Support commissioning and startup activities, ensuring instrumentation systems are correctly installed and operational.
- Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation-related issues during commissioning and initial operation phases.
- Provide training and support to operations and maintenance personnel.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including design calculations, datasheets, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders.
- Ensure documentation is archived and maintained according to company procedures.
