Part-Time / Freelance – IB Curriculum Math teachers
The Prefered Candidate Will
- Have knowledge of, and experience with, the educational philosophies, assessment requirements and practices of the International Baccalaureate, specifically relating to the Middle Years Programmes (preferred)
- Have work experience with students ages 11-15 years
- Have a high level of English Proficiency
- Have the ability to plan, deliver and reflect on curriculum and lessons which will stimulate, motivate and engage
- Have the ability to teach to ensure inclusion through universal design and differentiated instruction
- Be capable of instilling confidence and facilitate students’ understanding and application of mathematical concepts
- Have the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and administrators
- Have strong organizational and communication skills
- Be organized and reliable
- Engage actively and enthusiastically to contribute to a positive learning environment at Eton
Requirements
- A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B. Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent with a specialism in teaching Maths at Secondary School (G6-12)
- A minimum of 3 years of varied and demonstrable Maths teaching experience in Secondary School, ideally within an IB curriculum school,
- The desire to provide outstanding teaching and learning
