3RD UNIT is an UAEbased early stage entertainment fintech company.
We are building a digital ecosystem a launchpad for creators and marketplace for creative digital assets enabling and democratizing access to investment in early stage entertainment intellectual property (IP).
We see an immense opportunity to scout nurture and finance nascent creative IPs tailoring them from the ground up to seamlessly integrate into film gaming and locationbased entertainment franchises right at the preproduction stage.We need the right talentto join us to build it.
This is a talent scouting role. Your role will be to design an outreach pipeline and actively scout the MENA market for promising creators and / or IP properties that could be onboarded into our launchpad. Your curiosity imagination and genreagnostic approach should allow you to seamlessly navigate between genres and mediums from science fiction to fantasy from film gaming live experiences to amusement park attractions. Your holistic approach understanding of our audience and proficiency in conventional and unconventional sources of intellectual property will be a crucial part of our curatorial lens.
Role expectations:
proven experience in IP scouting / creative talent scouting / arts management
ability to smoothly operate between genres and mediums
a keen eye for nonconventional creators and innovative stories
strong verbal and oral communicator proven with blogs / publications / public speaking
strong networking skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships within the creative community and entertainment industry
experience or well justified interest in web3 / blockchain based technologies
fluency in English and Arabic
