Unity Developer

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and Implement Game Functionality: Work closely with the design team to understand game requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and implement game features mechanics and systems using Unity and C#.
2. Transform Design Specification into Functional Games: Collaborate with designers to ensure that game designs are technically feasible and optimized for performance. Implement gameplay mechanics user interfaces visual effects and audio features according to design specifications.
3. Communicate with Other Team Members: Maintain clear and open communication with artists designers producers and other developers to ensure alignment on project goals timelines and requirements. Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on development progress.
4. Establish Effective Strategy and Development Pipeline: Contribute to the development of project plans schedules and milestones. Identify opportunities to improve development processes and workflow efficiency. Implement best practices for version control asset management and project organization.
5. Design Build and Maintain Efficient Code: Write clean organized and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards and best practices. Optimize game performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks memory leaks and other issues. Implement code reuse and modularization techniques to streamline development and support future iterations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in Unity3D game development platform and C# programming language.
• Solid understanding of objectoriented programming principles data structures algorithms and software design patterns.
• Experience with game development tools frameworks and libraries.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for gaming and a desire to create immersive and engaging experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiplayer networking AI programming and/or VR/AR development.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g. Scrum Kanban JIRA).
• Knowledge of graphics programming shader development and optimization techniques.
• Previous experience in mobile game development (iOS/Android) and/or console development (PlayStation Xbox Nintendo).
• Contributions to opensource projects or a strong portfolio of personal game projects.
• Experience working in a collaborative crossfunctional environment within the gaming industry.
