الوصف الوظيفي

We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Procurement Officer to join our team. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing our companys purchasing activities ensuring timely procurement of goods and services at competitive prices while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide an ethical and consistent approach to the procurement of goods and services.
  • Maintain indepth knowledge and awareness of local national and international supply markets and vendors.
  • Create foster and maintain working relationships with suppliers and service providers who are committed to delivering highquality services at competitive prices.
  • Ensure compliance with all approved procurement processes and procedures.
  • Play a key role in selecting and evaluating suppliers from the preferred vendor database and monitoring their performance.
  • Procure all materials and equipment at competitive prices within budget and in accordance with project timelines and specifications.
  • Review all incoming requisitions daily and process any requiring quotations promptly.
  • Generate Purchase Orders and process them through the system.
  • Follow through on orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collect all necessary documentation from suppliers according to project requirements.
  • Organize shipping of materials.
  • Renegotiate transport agreements with logistics operators and establish framework agreements with suppliers.
  • Resolve any material receipt or invoice discrepancies either verbally or in writing.
  • Maintain and update the companys supplier list.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or supply chain management or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of the supply market in the Middle East
  • Knowledge of international purchase order conditions service agreements letters of credit and their interpretation and application.
  • Experience and knowledge in logistics shipping and shipping documents.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
