My client in Lake in the Hills, IL is looking to hire a couple of Assemblers – These are Entry to Mid Level roles, and the pay rate varies from $16.25/hr to $19.25/hr based on experience. MUST be willing to get trained on 1st shift then move into other shift !!
Job Description:
- In this position, candidates will be manufacturing belts and baskets for the Food Service Industry for several different machines. Candidates will be fully trained to assemble and manufacture both belts and baskets and must be able to work in an assembly-type environment.
- The products made in this department primarily go into the fast food industry (McDonalds, Subway, etc.) - and example of some of the trays or baskets are what Subway would put sandwiches on when they toast them. It is a unique material that has layers and is heat-resistant. Candidates will work with their hands to cut, seal, and put together small parts.
- Ability to fabricate other parts needed to produce various amounts of belts
- Experienced in hand sealer, four-corner fixture, measuring devices
Must haves:
- Reliable transportation – not accessible by bus line
- No H.S. diploma or GED required -Need to have basic math skills and pass a reading comprehension test, ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions - they will take someone who is very light on English as long as they can read/understand it.
Shifts:
1st Shift : 6am to 2:30pm (Monday to Friday)
2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm (Monday to Friday)
3rd Shift: 11pm to 7:30am (Sunday to Thursday)
