Avionics Technician
7:00 am to 3:30 pm
NASA Glenn has a small fleet of aircraft used for research, surveying and data gathering. The primary duties will be to maintain, troubleshoot and repair avionic and electrical aircraft systems for the NASA research aircraft.
- Designing, developing evaluation, testing, installing and maintaining Avionic systems.
- Analyzing and diagnosing faults in the operational configuration of electronic systems and equipment.
- Interpreting circuit wiring, logic diagrams, drawings, specs, and schematics of complete systems and equipment to understand the function and interconnections of the various assemblies and troubleshoot the systems.
- Installation and calibration of major inter-related and/or integrated aircraft systems, subsystems and assemblies.
- Basic computer competencies for research, email and document control.
- Remove, replace upgrade aircraft parts, accessories and components. About Aerotek:
