Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Cashier/Administrative Assistant at our Dermatology Clinic. This position requires a combination of cashiering responsibilities and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Process payments for services rendered including cash credit/debit cards and insurance payments.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing data entry and managing patient records.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to coordinate patient care and ensure a positive patient experience.
Requirements:
- College diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a cashier or administrative role preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is a plus.
