Position: Environmental Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local state and federal regulations

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations

Identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

Monitor and track environmental performance metrics and report findings to senior management

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure environmental considerations are integrated into business decisions and processes

Stay uptodate on environmental laws and regulations and communicate any changes or updates to relevant stakeholders

Manage relationships with external environmental agencies and consultants

Develop and deliver environmental training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote best practices

Lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce the companys environmental footprint

Conduct environmental impact assessments for new projects and provide recommendations for mitigating potential negative impacts

Manage the companys waste management program and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials

Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of environmental permits and licenses

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management or a similar role

Indepth knowledge of local state and federal environmental laws and regulations

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders

Proven experience in developing and implementing environmental policies and procedures

Experience conducting environmental audits and managing relationships with external agencies and consultants

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

Detailoriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance

Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fastpaced and dynamic environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office and environmental management software
