Job Specific Accountabilities
- Assign berth for the vessels & barge calling service harbors in coronation with Port control/Radio room
- Control/Supervision all vessels/barges movement (Entering/Departing and Berthing/Un-berthing)
- To carry out Permit to work duties, including area inspections, as authorized signatory where permitted.
- To ensure adherence to a safe system of work for all activities within service harbors in accordance with operational needs and permit requirements.
- Providing onsite supervision of cargo operations to ensure safe and efficient operation maintained in accordance to work permit conditions
- Supervising and conducting safety check list for vessels loading & discharging fuel
- Carrying out frequent safety, operational & housekeeping inspections within harbor
- Ensure HSE policy, procedures, regulations and objectives are effetely implemented
- Other duties as directed by Marine Team Leader
- Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on their job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Marine Certification (minimum 1st Mate) with a minimum of 2 years as a senior officer on board vessels with experience of operations and maintenance at oil terminals.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the logistics function within oil and gas industry.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an officer serving on oil tankers.
- Very good knowledge of the English language. Some spoken Arabic would be an advantage.
