Key Responsibilities
- Define the vision and execution strategy for a growing and profitable e-commerce site; work with the Buying Team to determine the proper product assortment, monitor and pivot the team as new insights are learned.
- Develop and implement strategic digital marketing plans based on quantitative data to achieve company sales goals, store performance goals, ROI/ROAS targets with a strong focus on new customer acquisition.
- Relentlessly pursue growth and performance in the digital arena, thinking creatively and working resourcefully to reach and own the brand message.
- Ensures the E-commerce operations including online merchandising, operations, promotion, and content KPIs are being properly achieved or exceeded.
- Create and translate the site vision into a roadmap that is aligned to our financial, customer, and brand goals, manages performance, drive insights about what is working and how to improve
- Develop and manage a digital budget that will drive the optimal mix of eCommerce sales, customer acquisition and retention while meeting company growth objectives
- Build and manage digital A/B Testing programs including roadmap and prioritization, execution, and analysis to develop actionable insights
- Oversees the e-commerce/digital team to ensure proper utilization of the CDP platform to collect customer data to drive optimizations that further convert customers and drive incremental sales.
- Strategize and develop digital campaigns with key vendors, leveraging various marketing/digital channels while effectively managing the vendor relationship.
- Aptitude for quickly solving problems and overcoming challenges using smart solutions that seek to turn negatives into positives that shrewdly improve upon the status quo.
- Provide both thought leadership and technical expertise to energize the broader team and improve digital marketing reach and marketing efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required with 6+ years of marketing experience and a thorough grasp of marketing and eCommerce strategy, analytics and retail tactics
- Proven track record and experience in delivering projects on time and budget with strategic roadmaps and robust communication planning to support execution
- Proven track record of converting data into actionable improvement
- Deep working knowledge of the digital environment and tools and platforms used to deliver an exceptional online experience
- Strong leadership and proven ability to build and manage a high performing team
