Our fast growing global safety client is seeking their next Warehouse Operations Coordinator to lead the entire back-end of their business. You will play a pivotal role in distributing products across Canada and ensure timely packing and delivery. This role will also work closely with the Project Manager to implement a better shipping/receiving systems.
Specific Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading of goods and supplies and ensuring proper handling of the goods.
Ensuring the cleanliness and proper stocking of inventory in the work area.
Maintaining quality in the warehouse and keeping track of all damaged inventory and
reporting to the General Manager.
Proper packing, labeling and tagging of the inventory in the warehouse.
Conducting cycle counts of inventory
Efficiently carrying out all orders of the General Manager.
Working in accord with all safety regulations of the warehouse.
Coordinating work with fellow workers and other team members.
Planning the layout of the warehouse, and the other storeroom areas, in accordance with
the turnover, volume, weight, and associated aspects of goods stored
Maintaining all warehouse inventory and records.
Responsible for receiving, recording, issuing, and transporting the goods and supplies from
the warehouse.
Meeting all safety and storage regularities for housing of the goods and supplies.
Completing all necessary documentation and legal formalities relating to the goods.
Assisting in making inventory reports for evaluations and working under the direction of
the General Manager

EDUCATION
High school diploma or a GED equivalent from a certified college, with basic business
acumen.
Experience of 2 years in a warehousing facility is an added advantage.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written as well as verbal).
Proactive mindset to recognize areas for improvement
Reliable
Self-motivated, individual contributor and team player.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Able to learn & adapt in a growing environment
Previous experience in a Warehouse environment an advantage
Mechanical background an advantage
