Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Location: Grand Forks, ND 58206
Job Type: 13 Weeks of Contract
Shift: Mix of day hours and weekends
Start Date: Flexible
Hours in a Week: 40
Number of Positions: 03
EMR Used: EPIC
Pay/Salary: $110 an hour on W2
Job Summary:
- The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with physicians, as necessary, to verify diagnosis, identify high-risk situations or alerts to changes in
- Patient’s status and takes appropriate action. The assistant administers medication and performs procedures within the scope of practice.
- This position provides patient/patient's family with appropriate education and follow-up care and/or referral to other health care resources.
Job Requirements:
- Physician Assistant | National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
- Nurse Practitioner | North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
- Physician Assistant | North Dakota Board of Medicine | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
- Driver's License with Acceptable Driving Record | Driver's License - Current State Licensed | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA) | Within 90 days of Start Date | Learning Management System Job Description 10:06 AM 01/09/2023 Page 2 of 6
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) | American Heart Association (AHA) |
