TPF Recruitment are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant Manager/ Supervisor to join a market leading Top 30 firm of chartered accountants based near Chichester. Our Client provides a wide array of accounting services to their clients across Sussex, Surrey and the South-East. Theyre now looking for an Assistant Manager/ Supervisor to join them, as a portfolio manager for a fantastic client base. Your clients will be made up primarily of non audit clients, mainly sole traders,partnerships and ltd companies, across a range of sectors and industries. You will have an autonomous position, with the support of an experienced team and you will be given a fantastic career opportunity to develop and progress both technically and professionally.
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
- Your responsibilities will be across Accounts Preparation, Management Accounts, VAT and Tax assignments.
- Responsibility for organising and planning the workload across the team.
- Working with the Managers and partners; setting budgets, negotiating fees and monitoring the billings.
- Supervise, support and train less experienced members of the team.
- You will play an active role in developing and building your own portfolio.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience
- A minimum of 3 years accountancy practice experience.
- Experience of running your own client portfolio would be advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of several cloud accounting systems would be advantageous- Sage, Xero, Quickbooks etc.

- 35,000 - 45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
