Roessel Joy has partnered with a venture company looking to hire an AP/Purchase Order Specialist! The ideal candidate has their degree in Accounting and at least a year of experience. This is a great opportunity to join a company offering superb perks and benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures
- Process invoices with appropriate documentation and approval on a timely basis
- Process purchase orders with appropriate approval
- Respond to vendor and internal customer inquires
- Enter and select invoices for payment
- Perform weekly check runs and payments via ACH and credit cards
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a related field (accounting, finance, etc.) OR the equivalent years of experience
- Would consider an internship to full time for the right candidate
- 1+ year of accounting, AP, and/or AR OR relevant internship experience
- Deltek Costpoint software experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Strong decision-making and communication skills
