New Heights Career Services, a leading staffing agency, is seeking a talented and analytical CPA Advisor/Sr. Tax Manager with 7+ years of tax experience to join our team.

Salary ranges: $140,000-$160,000

As a Sr. Tax Manager, you will provide exceptional technical expertise in accounting and tax, while also mentoring junior team members and managing multiple tax and accounting projects. You will review various tax returns, conduct complex analysis, and provide clients with solutions to potential tax problems. You must possess superior communication and analytical skills, excellent organizational skills, and a client-oriented work ethic.

In addition to providing technical expertise, you will anticipate areas of concern for client engagements, proactively recommend solutions, analyze IRS notices, and draft responses as needed. You will participate in team member evaluations and critical personnel decisions and consult with clients as needed on special projects. You will support the firm by participation in committees, training, recruitment & proactive involvement in planning for the future.

Minimum qualifications include 7+ years of recent tax and accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree, and an active CPA license. Experience with QuickBooks Online, CCH Axcess, or CCH Pro System is desired, as well as intermediate experience in the Windows environment, Excel, and Word. A criminal background check is required due to the sensitive nature of the information handled.
