Qualifications And Education Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the simulation or software development industry
- Computer programming languages: C, C++ or ADA
- Technical areas of expertise should include knowledge of datalink systems operation in both the real world and the simulator environments.
- Must have technical capabilities and understanding of at least one of the following technologies: Civil Datalink, LINK-16, VORTEX, AFTRS, SADL, Hawklink, JetWave, or Blue Force Tracker.
- Must have extensive knowledge of software interfaces including MIL-STD 1553, Ethernet, Serial, and ARINC 429.
- Knowledge of software techniques and computer languages used in the simulation industry. Hardware/software integration skills.
- Related skills should include technical writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. All communications must be in English.
- Analytical and mathematical modeling ability.
- Technical areas of expertise must include current software development technologies and tools.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret Interface Control Documents, Software Requirements Specifications, and Software Design Documents.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
