Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and compliance with accounting principles.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of corporate tax regulations in Dubai and the wider U.A.E.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial input and analysis.
• Monitor and report on budget variances, offering recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Tax laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with local accounting standards and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Time-management and organizational skills
