Roles & Responsibilities

Knowledge Areas:

• Product Knowledge: : Understand the metering, various types of flowmeters (such as differential pressure, electromagnetic, ultrasonic, etc.), their applications, and benefits to effectively communicate with potential customers.
• Industry and Applications: Understanding of industries that extensively use flowmeters (such as oil & gas, chemical processing, water treatment, etc.) and the specific applications within these sectors.
• Sales Techniques: Proficiency in sales methodologies, negotiation skills, relationship building, and customer-centric selling approaches.
• Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of fluid mechanics, instrumentation, and measurement principles related to flow measurement.
• Market and Competitor Analysis: Awareness of market trends, competitor products, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to customers with varying levels of expertise.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer support.
• Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales strategies to reach potential customers, including identifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, and preparing and presenting proposals.
