- Makes sure data input on the property website is accurate and up-to-date.
- Submits proposals to update the website content (text + pictures) on a regular basis, in order to keep a "dynamic" website.
- Submits seasonal promotions and events for inclusion on the website.
- Implements the 90 Days rolling plan Marketing Activities related to e-commerce
- Coordinates the e-marketing planned and last-minute activities needed by the Sales department to achieve the results.
- Ensures all information on Internet about the Hotel are correct and respect BHI Guidelines, and therefore handles the text for all online inserts, in collaboration with the respective departments.
- Monitors on a daily basis and records the performance and results of competitors websites and online activities
- Studies and proposes online marketing opportunities and initiatives to further maximize the online market penetration of hotels websites
- Reviews requests and proposals for online activities received from property GM and DOSM.
- Produces a monthly E-Marketing Report indicating the market penetration and online production achieved by hotels
- Meets and negotiates with third-party vendors offering online marketing services and solutions
- Develops online marketing tools and activities and proposes these for implementation.
- Communicates frequently with property revenue managers and obtains from them the revenue channels production and investigates and develops marketing initiatives and solutions how to increase the production
- Ensures that the hotels are always achieve a first page positioning on all primary search engines
- Initiates dynamic and original online marketing tools to support the penetration and increase the visibility of the hotel website.
- Manages the execution of all emailing campaigns and other online sales collaterals.
Collaterals:
- Develops branded marketing collaterals for the property, for all departments and in all required languages.
- Is responsible for the collaterals and giveaways store.
Partnerships & Sponsorships:
- Maximizes brand exposure and values through partnerships and promotional ventures with synergetic third parties.
- Investigates partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
- Carries out partnership and sponsorship activities.
Promotions and events:
- Supports all departments in the organization and the promotion of special offers and seasonal promotions.
- Prepares all necessary templates for mailings and e-mailings.
- Plans and organizes events in the hotel in collaboration with all concerned departments.
Advertising:
- Supports the Public Relations Officer with the preparation of all visuals and other materials required for the advertising campaigns.
Security, Safety and Health:
- Maintains high confidentiality in regards to guest privacy.
- Reports any suspicious behaviour of guests and staff to the General Manager and Security.
- Notifies housekeeper regarding lost and found objects.
- Ensures that all potential and real hazards are reported appropriately immediately.
- Fully understands the hotel's fire, emergency, and bomb procedures.
- Follows emergency procedures to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees.
- Works in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others.
- Anticipates possible and probable hazards and conditions and notifies the Manager.
- Maintains the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language and conduct.
