• Inputs from other sources (internal assessment, external audits, etc.) identifying areas of improvement.
• Develop and implement a modular training program based on above literature for trainee operators with an aim to complete certification in 3-4 months. Deliver high quality class-room and field training for the operators and supervisors as required by the training module. Arrange for external training wherever required.
• Identify training needs for all existing and new staff based on competency analysis, annual performance review, internal assessments, etc. Implements plans based on the above training need identification.
• Conduct surprise checks on refueling & other related activities for ensuring compliance with standards / procedures and coaches concerned staff as required. Use the same for training course development/process improvement.
• Maintain complete documented record for all training activities for the department. This would include but not be limited to:
• Training records of all staff in EA including the external trainings attended.
• Detailed records on the progress of trainee operators till their certification for operations.
• Any specific records mandated by airlines (e.g. panel operation training and certification, etc.).
• Be a member of Interview Panel that selects potential UAE and Expat candidates for recruitment as Aviation Operators.
