الوصف الوظيفي
- Assisting dermatologists with the diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions.
- Performing skin examinations, evaluating patient s condition, and recording patient s medical history & laboratory results.
- Providing pre and post-operative care for patients undergoing treatment for a variety of skin conditions and diseases.
- Assisting with procedures using specialized medical equipment, including cosmetic dermatology.
- Performing wound care by applying knowledge of different types of dressings, topical medications and wound care routines; conducting research to stay up-to-date on new procedures and protocols.
- Gained knowledge on treatment of acne, specific acne medications and their risks, and alternative topical medications.
- Assessing skin aging or other skin-related health problems.
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients, friends and families.
- Monitoring and administered medications and intravenous infusions.
- Taking patient s samples and vital signs such as pulse, respiration, temperature and blood pressure.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Nursing.
- Must have Min 2 years of experience as Dermatology Nurse.
- Must have HAAD License or documents required in order to get approval from HAAD.
