Position Title : Quality Manager
Location: Dubai
Reports to (Position) : COO
Scope: Overall Quality and Integrated Management system
I. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for managing the Quality program of multiple manufacturing sites and managing the Global Quality function in the manufacturing of a variety of products for a Various Customers including OEMs.
To ensure that internal processes and metrics are aligned to create highest product quality and competitive advantage
To lead team in achieving reduction in Internal Rejection as per objective defined
To ensure that Customer concerns are effectively resolved with Timely communication to the customer
To ensure reduction in external rejection with planned improvements
To represent organization with customer for various customer related initiatives, new business activities with timely support
Actively participating and taking leadership in driving improvement projects Like Lean manufacturing, Six sigma, TPM
To ensure supplier performance improvement with Supplier quality related activities.
Set up Inspection Criteria for each products with help of Product Engineering team
Approval of Inspection report from Quality Inspector
Handle Warranty claim from customer and communicate with supplier.
Ensure to have Zero defective goods reach to customer
Liaise and strengthen warranty terms with supplier.
Warranty cost claims management completely needed to be handled.
8D and other reports regarding the quality concern analysis report with closure needs to be completely handled
II. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
Knowledge:
Manufacturing and process control
IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 2015 Quality Management System, Environment management system and Health and Safety management system.
Quality tools and techniques,
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
Skills.
Analytical ability
Leadership skills
Excellent Communication skills
Time management
Self-starter
IV. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
At least a Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree, in relevant field with experience at the Senior Management level
6-7 years of Quality experience, which include experience in Quality Systems Management, QA Administration, IMS Audit. Inspection and Test experience, Experience in OEM quality
Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Quality Control/Assurance, Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent
Practical experience of proven record of implementation of Quality improvement program
Six Sigma or other accreditation will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Mandarin/ Japanese would be an added advantage.
V. OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be willing to travel globally & manage multi projects at a time.
